Three women in court for alleged nuisance

Three women: Fatou Ceesay, Adama Jawo and Nyima Jallow, were on Wednesday 20 September 2017, arraigned before principal magistrate Omar Cham of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on prohibition of conduct conducive to breach of peace at Kassakunda village, Kombo Central District of the West Coast Region.

The prosecution alleged that the accused persons on 1 August 2017, at Kassakunda Village in the West Coast Region conducted themselves in a public place in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace, by exchanging abusive words.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges pressed against them and were each admitted to bail in the sum of D25, 000.

Hearing continues on 10 October 2017.
