According to a medical report from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital, Amie is currently attending the cardiac clinic of the said hospital.
Meanwhile, another medical report issued by the Mayo Clinic on the health condition of little Amie also recommended for the girl to seek overseas treatment. The report estimates that Amie's treatment will require at least $13,000 to $15,000.
Abdoulie Tambedou, the father of the girl, is appealing to philanthropists, NGOs and the general public to help save the life of his daughter. "I wish I had the means to pay for my daughter's medical bill. I would have done it ever since but I didn't have the wealth," he said.
