Gambian coach Tapha Manneh yesterday, Wednesday 2 August 2017 guided LISCR Football Club to the Liberian Cup final following a 3-nil win over Keitrace FC in the second leg of the FA Cup semi-final encounter.

A first-half double from Sheku Ball passer Sheriff and Trokon D. Myers second-half strike ensured Liberia’s league leaders overturn a first leg 3-2 defeat and advance to the final 5-3 on aggregate.

The defeat in the first leg saw coach Manneh’s 25 games unbeaten run came to an end.

Despite the first leg result, Coach Manneh was hopeful of making a comeback in the second leg, saying afterwards: “Losing doesn’t mean it’s an end to our life. Nothing can stop us from qualifying. I’ll feel disappointed losing to Keitrace in the end, but losing is not an option for us. We are in the position to win all of the two competitions and we are going for all.”
