United’s doubts of First Division relegation has finally being cleared
following their goalless draw against Wallidan in their twenty-fourth fixture
of the ongoing GFF League Division One tournament played on Friday at the
Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The Tallinding-based team has now confirmed their stay in the GFF First Division League tournament for next season after picking the only point needed to guaranty their safety from playing next season in the Second Division tournament.
Wallidan FC, who were in a fine form at the beginning of the season were surprised to have shared points with the struggling Tallinding United side. They are sitting sixth position on the table standings with 33 points, while Tallinding still remain twelfth with 23 points.
Wallidan FC will play their next fixture against Brikama United, while Tallinding United will face the Petroleum Boys; Fortune FC
