"Take Time over Big Decisions" - Coach Bojang

The revered coach of Steve Biko, Abdoulie Bojang, has questioned the decision of the referee, Mr. Baboucarr Jallow, who officiated his sides match against their bitter rivals, the defending champions, Wallidan F.C, in last Sunday's clash at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

The coach of the giant killers was unhappy with the referee's decision of awarding Wallidan a penalty. The disenchanted coach bemoaned the fact that the foul was outside the 18-yard box and not in the penalty box as claimed by the referee.

Coach Bojang called for referee's to carefully take their time before making such a costly ruling that could hinder teams direly.

The giant killers, whose team was strengthened with players like Matarr Sarr and Assan Jatta both national players, equalized with a late swung free kick from Alpha Omar Jallow that curled into the top right corner of Wallidan goal. Wallidan took the lead from their striker Momodou Lamin Sillah.

In a similar development, the new comers, Brikama United triumphed over the Cellular Boys Africell/SaitMatty, heeding the call of BYSA president Lamin King Colley to try and maintain top-flight football.
