Superior Courts begin Christmas vacation today

Judges of the superior courts throughout the country would today commence Christmas vacation in observance of the 2017 Christmas and New Year celebration for a period of two weeks.

The courts include the Supreme Court of the Gambia, The Gambia Court of Appeal and the High Courts.

The Christmas vacation would terminate on 5 January 2018 and next term of the superior courts sitting would commence on 8 January 2018.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Judge, Buba Jawo, a native of Dewhu village near Brikama in West Coast Region and a graduate of University in Ghana, Legon would serve as the Christmas vacation judge for the period.
