2017 Fibank Gambia Limited-sponsored Super Nawettan semifinal matches are set
for this weekend, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4pm.
The 2016 Super Nawettan champions Gunjur will rub shoulders with Sukuta in the first semifinal on Sunday 29 October 2017.
The champions thrashed debutants Kombo East 3-0 in the quarterfinal tie played, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Tuesday to sail to the last four.
Gunjur will be eyeing to beat Sukuta for the second time in the semifinal to progress to the final, after defeating Dembadou boys 4-2 on penalties in the 2016 Super Nawettan semifinal match played, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
The Dembadou boys beat Banjul 2-1 in the quarterfinal played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Wednesday to progress to the last four.
Sukuta will be brawling for revenge to advance to the final, after losing to Gunjur 4-2 on penalties in the 2016 Super Nawettan semifinal clash played, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Elsewhere, Serrekunda East will play against BEM in the second semifinal on Monday 30 October 2017.
Serrekunda edged past Bakau 1-0 in the quarterfinal tie played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on Tuesday to progress to the last four.
Serrekunda will contest to beat BEM to sail to the first time final since 2014.
BEM defeated Brikama 1-0 in the quarterfinal played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium to book their ticket to the last four.
The North Bank Region boys will be searching for revenge to advance to the final for the first time in their history, after losing to Serrekunda East on penalties in the 2014 Super Nawettan semifinal played, at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.
