Gambian midfielder Sulayman Marreh has scored his debut goal for his Belgian club K.A.S Eupen in their 2-2 draw against Sint-Triden in the Belgian 1st division A Europa League play-offs group stage played at Stayen stadium on Sunday.

Marreh scored in the 71st minute of the match to level matters as his side fight to secure a place in the UEFA Europa League next season.

The 23-year-old joined Eupen last summer on transfer deadline, just a day before signing a permanent deal at the club in March. He has now featured in the club’s 98% matches in all competition since joining them.

The midfield-maestro was signed by Eupen from the English Premier League side Watford and is described as a strong midfielder by the club manager Claude Makelélé.

The Abuko-born player has established himself as a key figure with the Belgian outfit Königliche Allgemeine Sportvereinigung.
