Stimulating and exhilarating fixtures in GFF 1st Domestic league

The 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic division one league season week-six fixtures will feature thrilling and stirring encounters tomorrow Saturday across venues in the Greater Banjul Area.

As part of the thrilling fixtures in the country’s top flight league, Marimoo will host Banjul United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda. They are sitting third-place in the league with 9 points after five matches and will mêlée to upset Banjul United to top the league.

The Banjul-based club gripped 4 points after five matches and will defy to clobber Marimoo to land their first victory in the league.

Hawks will rub shoulders with Brikama United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium and Red Devils, who are winless after five matches with 5 points will be hoping to nail Brikama United to grip their debut win in the top flight league.

The Sateyba boys are second in the country’s premier league with 9 points and two points behind league leaders Wallidan, who snatched 11 points after five matches. They will stretch up to punch Hawks to top the league.

Defending league champions Gamtel will entertain newly-promoted side BK Milan at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.

The Telecommunication giants are rock-bottom in the top flight league with only 3 points after drawing three and lose two. They will fight tooth and nail to overcome BK Milan to move away from the red zone to fancy their dreams of retaining their last year league crown.

The Bakau-based club secured 5 points after drawing two matches and one victory and will now battle to hit Gamtel to bag their first win in the top flight league.

Sunday’s fixture will feature Wallidan against Gambia Armed Forces at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium while Samger will take on Real De Banjul at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium and Tallinding will lock horns with PVS Wellingara at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Gambia Ports Authority will welcome Fortune at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.
