The Bakau giant killers were occupying bottom-place in the country’s top flight league before their re-scheduled week-three fixtures with telecommunication giants, who are sitting one place above relegation zone.

Steve Biko knew that a defeat against Gamtel in their re-scheduled week-three fixtures will dash their hopes of staying in the top flight next season.

The Bakau giant killers came all out and notched in a single goal in the game to move one place above relegation zone in the top flight with 9 points in ten league matches.

The defeat left Gamtel second from bottom-place in the top flight with 8 points in ten league matches after slipping to Steve Biko in their re-scheduled fixtures.

Elsewhere, Brikama United thumped Samger 2-0 in the other re-scheduled week-three fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to maintain their league title hopes alive with 15 points in ten league matches.
