Sports Ministry appoints Alagi Ngum as Goodwill Ambassador

Youth and Sports Ministry has appointed Alagi Ngum, chief executive officer of Lotto Gaming Company as Goodwill Ambassador.

Mr. Ngum’s appointment, according to the Ministry was the result of the recognition of his outstanding contribution and exemplary commitment, involvement in youth and sport development and empowerment.

The appointment letter, signed by Minister Henry Gomez indicated that Mr. Ngum’s task as Goodwill Ambassador will include but not limited to supporting the vision and mission of the ministry, strengthening the outreach and impact in societies locally and abroad, promoting sports for all and other issues that are true to his knowledge and will contribute to the promotion of youth development.

Minister Gomez thanked Mr. Ngum for accepting the appointment, saying that he (Mr. Ngum) deserved it. “I thank you for taking up the responsibility and look forward to a fruitful relationship,” he said.

Mr. Ngum thanked the ministry for the trust bestowed on him in appointing him as Goodwill Ambassador and assured them that he would continue to support youth development in the country.
