Sporting Real retains slender lead in 2nd Division

Sporting Real is maintaining a slender lead in the ongoing Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league after hammering Second Infantry Battalion 6-1 in the week-fifteen fixture played at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium on Sunday.

They now sealed 33 points after fifteen league matches and one point ahead of second-spot Waa Banjul with 32 points, who walloped Brufut United 5-0.

Second Infantry Battalion are still occupying second-place from bottom in the second tier with 13 points in fifteen league matches. Jambanjelly United slipped to Serrekunda East Bi 1-0 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Serrekunda East Bi grasped 19 points after fifteen league matches and Jambanjelly United with 14 points in fifteen league games.
