SK Utd bang Brikama to move away from relegation zone

Serrekunda United on Wednesday beat Brikama United 2-0 in the week-twenty fixtures played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium to move away from relegation zone in the 2014-2015 First-Eco Partners-sponsored Gambia Football Federation division one league.

The win has earned the Serrekunda-based outfit one place above relegation zone with 18 points in twenty games with two more games to go before the end of the season.

The defeat was Sateyba boys’ second in the 2014-2015 First-Eco Partners-sponsored GFF division one league season.

Interior dropped to second place from bottom following their 3-0 defeat to Gambia Ports Authority at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Real De Banjul beat Bombada 3-2 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to renew their lead at top of the summit.

Real De Banjul are still leading the race with 41 points in twenty games with two more games to go.

Brikama United are third-place with 32 points in twenty games despite their 2-0 defeat to Serrekunda United in their week-twenty fixtures.

Gambia Ports Authority are fourth-place with 30 points in nineteen games and Bombada dropped to fifth with 28 points in twenty games following their 3-2 defeat to Real De Banjul in their week-twenty fixtures.

Serrekunda United are now one place above relegation zone with 18 points in twenty games after their resounding 2-0 win over Brikama United, while Interior dropped second-place from bottom with 15 points in the week-twenty games following their 3-0 defeat to Gambia Ports Authority in their week-twenty fixtures mid-week.
