The Sports Journalists’ Association of The Gambia (SJAG) has secured a partnership with Fly Mid Africa to send two sports journalists to cover and report on the ongoing WAFU Cup of Nations in Ghana.

John Mendy and Momodou Gajaga left for the assignment on Sunday morning and are expected to provide befitting coverage for the sports journalism fraternity.

Fly Mid Africa is the newest flight company connecting Banjul to Dakar, Lagos, Accra, and Freetown.

SJAG president Musa Sise applauded Fly Mid Africa for agreeing to partner with SJAG, and expressed hope of a long-standing partnership with the flight company.

“We thank Fly Mid Africa for the partnership as a reliable flight company,” he said, adding that this is part of SJAG’s commitment to have its members travel to cover such important tournaments.
