Football Federation President Augustine Senghor said his country and The Gambia
will join together to host the Africa Cup of Nations in future.
Senghor made the remarks during Gambia Football Federation (GFF) elective Congress held at the Paradise Suites Hotel recently.
He revealed that Senegal and The Gambia will join together to host the continent’s biggest football jamboree in future.
Senghor stated that he will discuss with the GFF new executive regarding the hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations in future which, he said would be call Senegambia AFCON.
According to Senghor, CAF is now encouraging nations close to each other to join and host Africa Cup of Nations following the increment of countries in the continent’s biggest football gala from 16 countries to 24 countries.
