Second Infantry Battalion have thumped Hawks 2-0 in their re-scheduled fixture played at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium to move away from danger zone in the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league table.

The Farafenni Barrack soldiers are languishing bottom-place in the country’s second tier before clashing with Red Hawks, who are also flopping in the league.

They needed maximum points in the match to move away from relegation zone and managed to snatch victory to move from demotion zone with 13 points in thirteen league matches. Red Hawks are rock-bottom in the second tier with 12 points after thirteen league matches.
