Scorpions reach Casablanca for int’l friendlies with Morocco, CAR

The Gambia National team, the Scorpions have arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, for their upcoming international friendly matches with Morocco CHAN team and Central Africa Republic Senior National team respectively.

The Scorpions will clash with Morocco CHAN team in the first international friendly match on Thursday 23 March 2017, before playing against Central Republic Senior National team in the second international friendly match four days later.

Coach Sang Ndong and his charges are set to hold series of training sessions to prepare themselves fit for their two international friendly ties with Morocco CHAN team and Central Republic Senior National team.

The two international friendlies with the Morocco CHAN team and the Central Republic National Senior team are part of The Gambia’s preparations for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers opener away to Benin in June 2017, in Port-Novo.

Coach Sang Ndong has travelled with twenty-four players for the two international friendly matches with the North African giant Morocco and Central Republic.
