Scorpions defender Ibou Touray scores first League Two goal for Salford City

Scorpions left-back Ibou Touray has scored his first English League Two (Fourth Division League) goal during Salford City’s 3-0 away win over Walsall in their week-twelve fixtures of the ongoing English League Two championship played at Banks’s Stadium on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Gambian defender scored his side third goal in the 72nd minute after a brilliant assist from Jake Jarvis to help his side climbed to 14th position in the table.

Luke Armstrong opened the scoring for his side in the 21st minute just before Juke Jarvis scoring the second goal in the 49th minute before setting up Ibou Touray’s goal.

Ibou who was born in Toxteth, England represented the Gambia playing two international matches in 2015.

The former Everton player who signed for Salford City in 2017 has so far played ten matches, scoring two and assisting one in the League Two championship.
