Arabia second-tier side Al-Qaisumah FC has secured the signature of Gambian
midfielder Mamut Saine on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old Saine, who has been a free agent since leaving Finnish club Rovaniemen Palloseura, penned a one-year deal, with an option to extend with the Arab club.
A catalogue of injuries is to be blamed for the former Sea view midfielder’s career sudden slow progress after being once chased by Portuguese giants FC Porto.
Mamut, a technically gifted player who plays from the center of midfield, combines pace with his excellent vision to assist the forward line with precision passes and a powerful shot.
Al-Qaisumah, based in the Eastern Saudi province of Hafar Al-Batin, play their matches at the 6000-capacity Al-Batin Club Stadium and finished eight on last season’s Prince Mohammad bin Salman League (second-tier) with 40 points.
