Wellingara and Samger are fighting for survival in the country’s domestic
division one league after their poor performance in the league campaign.
The Academy boys were sitting second-place from bottom in the league table with 18 points in twenty-two league games. They must win their remaining six league matches and hope teams above them loss to enable them to stay in the top flight league next season.
The Wellingara-based outfit are also rock-bottom in the league standings with 16 points after twenty-two league matches and need to clinch maximum points in their remaining league games to stay in the top league next season.
