Finnish third-tier side IF Gnistan after scoring for his side in their 3-1 away
win over Grift in the week sixth
fixtures of the Finnish Kakkonen third-tier league played at the Stadio
Kauniaisten on Monday.
The former Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) player scored in the 55th minute of the second half to give his side the needed advantage.
This victory has moved Faal’s side Gnistan top of the Finnish Kakkonen table with 15 points after six games, while Grift is second from bottom position with 5 points.
The 23-year-old who signed for IF Gnistan in September from FC Kiffen has now scored three league cup goals and provided three assists so far this season.
The Gambian international who has a creative space played in Senegal for Casa Sports before moving and signing his professional contract in Finland for FC Jazz in 2015.
Saloum’s side IF Gnistan will next play at home to FC Espoo in their week seven-fixtures of the Finnish Kakkonen third-tier league on Saturday.
