Scorpions have walloped Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) Women team 4-0 in the ongoing
Gambia Football Federation Women FF cup semi-final first leg played at the FIFA
goal project in Yundum on Friday.
They dominated the entire first period of the game, which paid off as they took a commanding
3-0 lead into the break courtesy of the Adama Tamba brace and Kumba Kuyateh’s goal.
Kumba Kuyateh opened the account in the 17th minute of the game when the Armed Forces skipper failed to hold the effort before Kumba headed home the opener. Three minutes later, magnificent striker Adama Tamba doubled the lead after capitalising on Ola Buwaro’s trademark cross to slide the ball into the net. Some six minutes later Adama Tamba fired her second goal of the game from a thunderous strike to complete her brace.
On resumption, Reds continued from where they stopped, mounting pressure on the khaki girls that paid off once more as Aminata Camara alias Eto’o scored the fourth goal to complete the victory in the 52nd minute of the game.
