Red Scorpions acquire maximum points

Former Women’s League Champions Red Scorpions FC have been awarded three points and two goals after their opponents failed to turn up for the scheduled match last week.

This decision was reached at the GFF Organizing Committee meeting held on Tuesday where other league matters were deliberated upon and actions taken.

According to the GFF Organizing Committee, the awarding of points to Red Scorpions is largely due to the following reasons: late arrival of the team at 3pm;  the team appearing with a Red Jersey thus causing colour clash; and the search sons for an alternative jersey colour taking the team nearly an hour to avoid colour clash.

This development therefore means that Red Scorpions FC have three points without kicking a ball.
