Rangers edge out Uprising to reach East knock-out round 16

Rangers United on Wednesday 4 October, 2017 beat Uprising F.C 6-5 on post match penalty shoot-out, after a 1 all draw in regulation time in the ongoing Serrekunda East sport development organisation knock- out trophy match, played at the Serrekunda East mini stadium at the 3pm kick-off.

In the late kick-off on the same day at 5pm, Brardford F.C drew goalless with Nguma F.C after regulation time, pushing the game into a marathon penalty shoot-out which ended 13-12 in favour of Nguma F.C.
