Early Development Academy on Saturday held its 3rd graduation at a ceremony
held at the school premises in Fajara, Golf Course.
Addressing the gathering, Awa Kane Njie, the head teacher of the school, described the day as a very important one in the annals of the graduating class and the pupils in general in their pursuit for quality education.
According to her, good and quality education is an integral component in the development of any nation, and thus encouraged parents to inculcate the habit of learning and reading in their children as it would help them a great deal in developing a healthy and positive approach as far as good and quality education is concerned.
Mr. Modou Faye, a representative from MoBSE, who doubles as the cluster monitor of the school, thanked the proprietress, teachers of the institution for their selfless and tireless effort in preparing the children for the life ahead.
Knowledge, he said, should be safeguarded and nurtured, thus encouraging both parents and teachers to not relent in their efforts to provide conducive and quality education for their children as they are the future leaders.
He assured the school of their unflinching support at all times.
The ceremony was punctuated with entertainment showcasing series of activities such as drama, cultural dance and songs. The event, which was attended by parents, and government officials, also saw presentation of certificates and awards to the deserving pupils.
