The race for the much-awaited Gambia National Olympic Committee presidency is set for tomorrow, Saturday 5 November 2016.

Three candidates, namely Lamin King Colley, the former chairman of National Sports Council, Dodou Capi Joof, president of The Gambia Athletics Association, and Pa Alieu Jallow, president of The Gambia Boxing Association, are set to vie for the GNOC top job.

National sports associations are set to vote in the election and the winner will run the affairs of GNOC for the next four years.

The trio will be hoping to beat each other in tomorrow’s poll to become the president of The Gambia National Olympic Committee for the next four years.

The GNOC’s incumbent president Alhagie Momodou Dibba will not contest in the forthcoming presidential election and will step down at the end of his tenure.
