R77 Football Academy-UK partners with Abuko United

A United Kingdom-based R77 Football Academy through Abdullah Aid (UK) have recently partnered with Abuko United Football club.

Abdullah Aid-The Gambia head of operations Alhaji Ousman Kinteh told reporters at Abuko Lower Basic School football field that they have different projects and one of them is in The Gambia, which started with a football project to help and support children who want to take football as their career.

Mr. Kinteh said they just started their football academy and hope it would grow well and would benefit the community.

Ridhwaan Yusup, R77 Soccer School-UK head coach said they run the Global game project in The Gambia, saying they will try to raise funds in the UK to change the Abuko football pitch to make it a standard playing ground to enable players to showcase their talents.

Speaking on behalf of the coaches of Abuko United Football Club, Kebba Jammeh expressed gratitude for the partnership.
