Qatar-based gold winning superstars called for national duty

Two Gambian Qatar-based gold winning super stars Sainey Jawo and Mbye Babou Jarra have been called to The Gambia beach volleyball senior national team for the 12th edition of All African Games to be hosted in Morocco, next month.

The duo will represent The Gambia in their 3rd appearance in the continental multi-sports showpiece, preceding Maputo 2011 and Brazzaville 2015.

Gambia senior beach volleyball team head coach, Pa Barrow expressed confident that his men can match big guns in Africa with their collection of experience.

Fatoumatta Ceesay and Abie Kujabie, two of the longest serving women beach volleyball partners in Africa maintain their partnership and will rub shoulders against other nations at the games.
