Peace & Dialogue Centre presents Ramadan gifts to The Point, security forces

Peace and Dialogue Centre, a Turkish-based Association which operates as an NGO, Wednesday donated cooking items to The Point Newspaper, security forces, the needy and communities in the country, as part of its annual Ramadan gifts.

The donated items included rice, potatoes, sugar, tomato paste and oil.

Bilal Asci, President of Peace and Dialogue Centre, said the donated items are part of the annual Ramadan gifts worth one million eight hundred thousand dalasi (D1,800,000).

Asci added that the centre through Jammeh Foundation for Peace also rendered support to the needy in Jarra Soma and North Bank Region worth one million, eight hundred thousand dalasi (D1,800,000).

He said Peace and Dialogue Centre is a newly established association meant to assist needy people, adding that they facilitate dialogue among people and promote culture.

Asci also applauded Jammeh Foundation for Peace for its collaboration with his association to assist the needy and others in the country.
