Njaba Kunda Groundnut ‘Socco’ watchman arrested

Saika Keita, a native of Nawlerr village in the Central Badibou of the North Bank Region (NBR) and the watchman who was allegedly tied-up and locked in a room during a reported armed robbery attack at the Njaba Kunda Secco has been arrested as investigation into the matter deepens.

The Point has been reliably inform that Mr. Keita, 40, is currently detained at the Farafenni Police Station as investigators tried to flesh out whether the said robbery was true or not.

Our source in NBR added that securities in the region believed that the alleged armed robbery was an organised crime.

“None of the villagers in Njaba Kunda heard any sound of a gun. Therefore, the police are investigating it properly with a view to ascertain the cause of the incident,” our source stated.
