Nianija chief enlightens youth, Alkalolu on NDP

Dawda York, chief of Nianija district in Central River Region (CRR) North has recently met with both youths and Alkalolu of his area, where he enlightened them on government’s National Development Plan (NDP) 2018 to 2021.

Held at Buduk Bantaba, thirty Alkalolu and several other young people attended the day-long enlightening engagement.

Chief York highlighted the importance of the NDP and the Barrow Youth Movement for National Development, saying that  the Movement will encourage young Gambians and bring them opportunities in many ways.

He appealed and urged the people of his district, particularly young people to rally behind President Barrow and to support the Youth Movement for the country’s advance development and for the benefit of all Gambians.

Youth representative Saidou Bah and lady Councilor Hawa Bah both expressed appreciation for the engagement. They assured the Chief of their readiness to stand for the development of the district and their support to President Barrow and his government’s development plans.
