Castle and Ceesay football clubs will be locking horns in the Farato Youth and
Sports Committee’s organized senior league football competition final this
According to football enthusiasts in Farato, the final will be one of the best in the community in terms of talent exhibition and ambiance. The tournament is named after Hon. Kebba K. Barrow of Kombo South.
“The tournament is not sponsored as getting sponsors for our tournaments has been one of our major problem since we came to office in 2015,” Comma Camara, secretary general of Farato Youth and Sports Committee told sports journalist, Alieu Ceesay in an interview.
Twenty teams participated in the tournament. In Saturday final, the committee has lined up awards to be given including winner and runners-up prizes, leading goal scorer, most disciplined team, best fans club, best coach and best goal keeper.
Secretary General Camara appealed to players, officials and fans to come out in their large numbers and maintain maximum discipline that they are known for in order to have a successful final as they are expecting important dignitaries.
