Center for Arts and Culture (NCAC) on Tuesday convened a two-day training for
members of The Gambia Police Force on Copyright enforcement. The training held
at the National Museum, was designed to equip participants on issues relating
to Copyright in The Gambia.
Copyright director at the National Center for Arts and Culture, Hassoum Ceesay said Copyright has existed since 1912 meant to empower and give people the power to own whatever they create.
He said by October and November, NCAC will receive foreign trainers to capacities members of The Gambia Police Force on broader issues relating to Copyright technicalities.
