National women team trains for two int’l friendlies

Gambia’s national women team last week started training at the Gambia Technical Training centre in Yundum ahead of their two international warm up friendly matches against Mali on 16th and 19th May at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4:30.

Coach Mariama Bom Sowe and her technical staff will use the two test matches as part of her team’s technical preparation ahead of their first leg of the crucial 2018 African women cup of nations qualifier in Ghana. 

Coach Sowe said they started training the previous week ahead of their double header tie against their West African counterparts, saying 30 women squad from Mali senior women team will be arriving in Banjul on 13th May 2018.
