Muslim Aid Gambia, Muslim AID UK and AmeriCares Donate Medicines To RVTH Worth Over D24M

Muslim Aid Gambia with its Partners Muslim AID UK and AmeriCares have donated a consignment of Paroxetine Medicines to Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH). These medicines will benefit patients with depression disorders particularly those at the Mental wing (Campama psychiatric Hospital of the RVTH) and the community mental health program of the hospital. The medicines worth's $924,721.92 dollars. D24, 042,769 Dalasis.

These medicines were handed over to Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) Donation Committee and the Management Committee by Alh. Sheikh Ahmad Tejan Wadda the Director of Muslim Aid Gambia on behalf of its partners. The donation of these medicines to RVTH is part of the ongoing efforts of Muslim Aid to support the Health Sector of The Gambia. The donated medicines are not for sale or resale.

Medical Director of the RVTH Dr. Mbowe and its line ministry the office of her Excellence the Vice President for their tireless efforts in ensuring the donation of The medicines to The Gambia. As well as supplying practical help, Muslim Aid assist communities in examining the root causes of poverty and underdevelopment, and in advocating for a more just world and sustainable future.
