Muhammad Yadalieu English and Arabic Nursery and Lower Basic School recently received furniture, computers and sewing machines from Nice To Be Nice, a charitable foundation.

Haja Maimuna Savage, proprietress of Muhammad Yadalieu English and Arabic Nursery and Lower Basic School, speaking at the presentation, expressed gratitude to Allah for sending the donors to the school.

She also prayed to Allah to reward the donors and everyone that had contributed to the development of the school.

She said the gesture came at a time when they needed them most and hoped it would continue for schools across the country to benefit in the future.

Head Mistress, Aji Amie Ndure, described the day as a joyous one for them, saying one of their main challenges has been furniture.

Nice To Be Nice Foundation founder, Mette Christensen, explained that she visited The Gambia and went back home with the idea of helping the needy.

She thanked her Gambian team for their dedication, commitment and hard work, adding that they still have the same quantity of materials in Germany that they will try to bring to The Gambia.

Mustapha Keita, co-founder of Nice To Be Nice Foundation, said the foundation came to being in 2016 with the aim of supporting needy and under-privileged children in terms of education, social welfare among others.

Imam Tafsir Gaye also joined others in thanking the donors, and also commended the school proprietress for educating children.
