More cocaine found at Bonto

Report reaching this paper has stated that some more cocaine, at least an additional 25 kg of cocaine, was yesterday discovered at a warehouse where as many as 2 tonnes 340kg and 860g of cocaine were recently discovered in the village of Bonto.

According to our sources, the discovery came about when GRTS went to the said warehouse, with the permission of the Executive Director of the National Drug Enforcement Agency, Benedict Jammeh, to retake some footage of the warehouse, since the first video was taken in the dark.

According to sources, this time GRTS went to the place with beaming lights, only for them to discover another bag containing some 25kg of cocaine.

This paper on Wednesday reported that 2 tonnes, 340kg and 860g of cocaine were seized at a warehouse, located in Bonto village in Kombo East district of the Western Region.

Subsequently, 12 foreign nationals were arrested, and arraigned at the narcotics court of the Banjul Magistrates' Court.
