The registration fee for this year’s championship is pegged at D2,000 per team and deadline for registration is 21 June 2016.
The Super Cup final, named after Alieu Mourinho Jabang, is billed for the third day of Koriteh 2016 between league champions Buckingham FC and knockout champions Young Santos FC at the Gunjur Nyamina football field.
It would be recalled that Young Santos FC clinched the Super Cup title after beating Young Ajax FC in the final and are hoping to beat Buckingham FC to retain the title.
The championship is organised by Gunjur Sports Committee’s intermediate sub-committee in memory of the late Modou Janneh, the former 2nd assistant secretary general of Gunjur Sports Committee, who passed away in 2015.
