The Manjai-based team dominated the opening minutes of the match and created numerous goal opportunities. They opened scores through Ismaila Ceesay in the 11th minute of the match from a cool free-kick and Modou Manneh scored the second goal in the 37th minute, to clinch the significant three points.
Gamtel responded for an equaliser but couldn’t break through Marimoo’s solid defence line, ending the match 2-0.
The telecommunication giants must win their remaining matches to fancy their hopes of qualifying for the semifinal after slipping to Marimoo 2-0.
