Man in Court for Wilful Damage to Property

Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court yesterday presided over a criminal case of wilful damage to property brought against one Momodou Lamin Touray.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused Momodou Lamin Touray on 25th March 2009, in the Kanifing Municipality unlawfully broke the window of a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 1627F being the property of Unique Transport System Company, valued at D2,500. The Accused denied the charge.

Meanwhile, the accused was granted court bail in the sum of D2500.

The case was adjourned until 8th April 2009.
