Man in Court for Stabbing

A Brikama resident Yaya Jammeh, will know his fate on the 25th June 2009 following his own guilty plea to the offence of stabbing one Demba Jallow with a knife on the stomach while at the Brikama Market.

Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates' Court remanded the accused that now pleaded guilty to the charge at the state central prison while waiting for his judgement to be deliver on the 25th June 2009.

According to the particulars of the offence the accused Yaya Jammeh on or about the 14th day of June in 2009 at the Brikama market caused heinous bodily harm to the complainant by stabbing him on the stomach.
