Man in court for allegedly stealing cell phone worth US$100

A man called Modou Gaye was recently paraded before Magistrate Joof of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court and charged with stealing.

He denied any wrongdoing.

The charge sheet read in court stated that the accused, Modou Gaye, on 15 April 2017, at Lugis Hotel Complex, in Senegambia, the Kanifing Municipality, he stole a mobile phone marked ZTE black in colour valued at US$100, equivalent to D4,700, the property of one Thomas Sambou
