One Alagie Boye was yesterday 18th August 2009 dragged to the corridors of justice for contravening section 256(b) of the Criminal Code, for allegedly stealing from a person.
The alleged offence revealed that, the accused Alagie Boye on 10th August 2009 at the Kanifing Municipality, stole from the person of Omar Njie by snatching from him a mobile phone mark " Samsung" valued at D1, 500, being the property of the said Omar Njie.
He pleaded guilty.
Meanwhile the accused was granted court bail of D2000 or the provision of one Gambian surety with the property of that value.
The case was presided over by Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court.
