striker Mam Drammeh is set to inspire her side Abuko United to the 2018-2019
Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women domestic division one league triumph.
Drammeh, who started her playing career at Abuko Upper Basic School; guided her school to three inter school triumphs from 2007 to 2009. She finished leading goal scorer in all competitions.
She later proceeded to Muslim Senior Secondary School in Banjul where she also guided her school to a three consecutive Capital inter schools triumphs.
In her final year at Muslim Senior, Mam helped her School team to the first edition of GT Bank sponsored Principals Cup triumph in 2016 and she was awarded the best player of the tournament.
Mam was a regular player in The Gambia women division one league with Abuko United FC during her Upper and Senior School at that tender age.
In 2016 she helped Abuko united finish runners-up in the GFF FF Cup when her team lost to Interior. She led her teams scoring chart with an average of ten goals as Abuko united finished 3rd place.
She netted 16 goals in all her competitions in 2016 domestic league season and was invited to the country’s women national team.
Mam said; “we are ready physically and morally to compete against the dominant forces for this year’s women domestic triumph.”
