FIFA and CAF referee Malick Sillah is set to contest with incumbent Gambia
Football Federation president Lamin Kabba Bajo for the country’s football
governing body’s presidency next month.
Sillah, who was recently unveiled as GFF presidential aspirant for next month election, would be hoping to defeat incumbent Kabba in the federation’s elective congress set for 18 August, at the Football Hotel in Old Yundum to steer the affairs of football matters in the country for the next four year.
Kabba, who has received backing from the Regional Football Associations, Allied Associations as well as league clubs, is optimistic to beat Sillah come 18 August to run the affairs of the country’s football with another four-year mandate.
Kabba was elected as the president of the Gambia Football Federation in 2014 after beating Buba Mbaye Bojang in the election held at the Paradise Suites Hotel.
