Lotto Gaming, one of the leading lottery companies in country, has disbursed a total of about D4 million to various winners of its lottery since the company resumed operations barely two months ago.

The company made its latest disbursement on Thursday when it presented D162,000 cash to two jackpots winners at a ceremony held at its head office at Westfield.

The two lucky winners, Amadou Sey, a resident of Barra village, and Antony Mendy from Kotu, received D81,000 each.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Lotto Gaming’s senior marketing manager, Madam Mbinko Jammeh Agha, said the latest disbursement was another achievement for the company.

“We will continue to do more and more because we want our customers to feel comfortable and we want them to have more confidence in the company,” she said.

“As we continue our business, so many surprises await our customers as we are strategising to increase the winning chances of our customers and we will also continue to pay bonuses.”

The two latest winners, Amadou Sey and Antony Mendy, expressed delight in receiving their jackpot payments, saying they have never received such amount of money before.

Momodou Kabiru Secca, strategic marketing manager of Lotto Gaming Gambia, said despite the successes registered so far, the company is not relenting in its efforts to make sure that the business continues to operate on a very strong footing.

“This is why within a very short time we are able gave out close to D4 million,” he said.

Muhammed Kurubally, a staff of LGG posted at Barra, said he worked for the Gambia National Lottery for many years but had never seen the manner at which Lotto Gaming pays its customers.

“In those days [the days of Gambia National Lottery], some of the winners were paid in cheque and such cheques usually bounce.  This is the first time in The Gambia that a lottery company pays such a magnitude of money in cash,” he said.

Alasana Buso, LGG head of sales clerk, said: “I have been in this business since 1996 but I have never seen any company paying the way LGG is doing within a very short time.  This shows the seriousness and commitment of Lotto Gaming.”
