Gamtel’s second league title winning Coach Sulayman Kuyateh said he would like to coach the Gambia in future as he sets himself a challenge.

Kuyateh is currently in the Netherlands for a two-week intensive coaching training course to abreast himself with advanced techniques and also give him the opportunity to learn new coaching skills.

“I am very ambitious. I want to be a Coach in The Gambia national team one day. That is why I am trying to learn more on football so that I can become the national team coach,” he told Omroezeelande.nl in the Netherlands.

On Tuesday, Gamtel won its second domestic league title as the new First Division league crown champions of the 2017/18 GFF league.
Coach Tapha Manneh, who is now with LISCR FC in the Liberian top flight league as double cup winner last season, first led Gamtel to their maiden League success in 2015.

Until Kuyateh’s departure to the Netherlands, the Brikama-based gaffer was unbeaten in the Gambia Football Federation league division one with three games remaining. He is expected to return on May 12th when he faces his former club Brikama United in Gamtel’s final league game of the season.
