Late Dembo FC’s number one custodian Omar Darboe Kebbeh is set to miss the 2015-2016 Gunjur Nawettan season after refusing to play for Gunjur United FC in the 2014-2015 West Coast Regional third tier, according to news emanating from Gunjur Sports Committee.
Kebbeh was invited to join Gunjur United FC but he refused to honour the invitation to play for the team in the West Coast Regional third tier.
According to rules and regulations of Gunjur Sports Committee, any player who refused to play for the town team shall be suspended.
It would be recalled that Gunjur United missed promotion berth to the second division after finishing fourth place in the league.
