Lancaster Utd held Digi Dambi in Banjul Nawetan

Lancaster United on Sunday came from one nil down to share spoils with Digi Dambi FC in a thrilling encounter of the ongoing 2014-2015 Banjul Nawetan played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Digi Dambi were the first to hit the back of the net before Lancaster United leveled the score moment later to share the spoils.

Lancaster United and Digi Dambi have bagged a single point in one game each and will be aiming to win their remaining games to fancy their chances of qualifying for the second round and avoid relegation.

Elsewhere, Super Cup runners-up Man City also drew 1-1 with Macdonald United in another tricky play on the same day.

Man City and Macdonald United have now snatched one point in one outing each and will also be fighting tooth and nail for a victory in their remaining games to keep their chances of reaching the second round and avoid relegation.
