Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field, Sarr expressed delight for donating jerseys to the Gunjur Sports Committee, as the town braces up for the country’s Super Nawettan Zonal Football Championship set to commence later this year.
Sarr expressed his readiness to render support to the Gunjur Sports Committee whenever the needs arises.
A former Y.S.B FC, Wallidan and Real De Banjul prolific striker, Sarr expressed his willingness to immensely contribute towards the development of football in Gunjur.
Receiving the donation, the Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) applauded Lamin Sarr for his benevolent gestures, adding that the donated items would aid the committee as the town prepares for the Super Nawettan.
The GSC seized the opportunity to call on other citizens from Gunjur in the Diaspora to emulate Lamin Sarr’s invaluable support to the sports governing body.
The presentation ceremony was witnessed by the president of the GSC, Lamin Darboe alias Darboe C, the public relations officer Sulayman Sambou, the assistant public relations officer Musa Bojang, Abdoulie Janneh and other committee members.
